New FDA Data

Independent laboratory test results (using FDA testing method) for arsenic in 19 milled white rice samples from Southern U.S. states and 25 samples from California for the 2012 crop show arsenic levels of the samples are well below the proposed Codex Committee on Contaminants in Food maximum level proposal published in March 2012.

The adopted CODEX standard for white rice is shown by the red horizontal line which is well above the maximum for the “USA 2012 Sampling” as well as above the Codex-reported “USA” sample.
